Doctor Linda M. Benedict is the owner of Georgia Skin Specialists, a practice which she began in 2001. Dr. Benedict is a Florida native who received her undergraduate degree from Emory University. She graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and then completed residencies in both Family Practice and Dermatology. She also served as Chief Resident of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Holly Edmonds earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in 2002. She then went on to attend the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. After receiving her Doctor of Medicine in 2006, Dr. Edmonds completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Missouri Health Center in 2010. She served as the Chief Resident in Dermatology from 2009 to 2010.
Dr. Desiree Mohandas grew up in Madison, Wisconsin where she attended both undergraduate and medical school at the University of Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2008. She was then accepted into the Medical Doctorate program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she graduated in May 2012 with awards for academic achievement and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Mohandas completed her internship in Internal Medicine before completing her residency in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in June 2016.
Anne Symbas joined Georgia Skin Specialists in 2012. A native of Atlanta, Anne graduated as an alpha omega from the Westminster Schools where her passion for dermatology developed through a close family friend. She went on to attend the University of Georgia and earn her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development.
Jennifer Wright is originally from Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Performance from the University of Kentucky, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008. After gaining experience as a medical assistant in dermatology, she and her husband moved to Atlanta, where she earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Emory University in 2013.
Caroline Bone joined Georgia Skin Specialists in 2018. Born and raised in Atlanta, Caroline attended The Westminster Schools and graduated Cum Laude in 2013. In 2017, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human and Organizational Development with a focus in Health and Human Services and a minor in Corporate Strategy. She graduated again from Vanderbilt in 2018 with her Master's of Science in Nursing and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
